Day 1
Arrival in Addis Ababa and visit of the capital. Overnight hotel.
Day 2
Drive to Debremarkos through the monastery of Debre Libanos and the Blue Nile Gorge. Overnight hotel.
Day 3
Drive to Bahirdar and transfer to your hotel.
Day 4
Morning excursion to the Blue Nile falls and afternoon boat trip on Lake Tana to the island monasteries.
Day 5
Drive to Gondar and PM visit of the castles and the Debre Birhan Selassie monastery. Overnight hotel.
Day 6
Drive to Simien Mountain National Park. Overnight in lodge or tents.
Day 7
Drive to Axum though the Tekeze Valley and the Simien lowlands. Overnight hotel.
Day 8
Explore the ancient town of Axum. Overnight hotel.
Day 9
Drive to Adigrat through the Adwa Mountains, the 5th century BC temple at Yeha and the monastery of Debre Damo. Overnight hotel.
Day 10
Visit some of the rock-hewn churches of Tigray and drive to Mekele for overnight in your hotel.
Day 11
Full day drive to Lalibela. Overnight hotel.
Day 12
Visit the rock-hewn churches of Lalibela. Overnight hotel.
Day 13
Drive to Kombolcha. Overnight hotel.
Day 14
Drive back to Addis Ababa and transfer to your hotel.
Day 15
Departure back home.
